Arriving in the 37 degree heat of Paris after a week in cold London was definitely an adjustment but the beautiful scenery, dirt cheap food and intriging social life made the heat manageble. My previous notions of what Paris would be like were both challenged and reinforced in certain ways, walking down the Champs Elysees, visting landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and the Lourve were all very surreal moments and ones ill never forget! However, as someone travelling on a small budget i would be very careful which area i was staying in, it is a very dirty place at times and some areas i would definitely steer clear of!
